BOLLYWOOD, WHO HURT YOU?🎬💔
Hello my Wanderers, I am Aanya and also a certified Bollywood addict and unapologetically obsessed with actors, drama, and everything filmi. I am a person who grew up in a middle-class family and thinks I could do that sassier thing. My whole childhood was surrounded by the characters in movies. But I have to admit the fact that in Bollywood now, Poo would never approve this. I mean it’s not about Blockbuster? More like Flopbuster. If you are also someone who has seen core Bollywood cinema, and you also feel same like this, keep scrolling. Here’s the reason why I think Bollywood, where the budget is high, but the IQ is low!

(A Bollywood film is never just a movie; it’s music, drama, love, and dreams woven together)
The OG movies like Gulaab Gang, Murder, Kahaani, Tumbbad, MS Dhoni, 1920 (Horror film), Sanju, Phobia, Trapped and I mean there’s many more these are the actual movies with great artists, direction and scripting, which were appreciated by lot of people even today also and if you’ve not seen any one of them then you are really not a cinema person? To make a blockbuster film takes many artists, their dedication, a nice scriptwriter, creative content and obviously great actors, but today, Bollywood is serving looks but not logic for forever. What’s wrong with you? As we can see, a pile of disappointments: Nadaaniyan, emergency, Baby John, Bhool Bhulaiya 3, Kalki. I mean, I can’t even tell you how many you all will lost the count. Bollywood gives zero effort to the content. Now every movie is looking like a long 3-hour ad of a new luxury brand rather than an actual movie.
We are actually stuck in a loop of nepotism projects with zero acting skills. Bollywood, Less Nepo, More Talent, Please! I think there is some useless connection about pushing Bollywood to make a forced cringe romance with no chemistry. I mean we are not interested. Stop making couples happen. Also, now trailers are releasing all the PLOTS of the movie. It has become very predictable. To be honest, it has really left zero excitement in the audience. Trailers now reveal the ENTIRE plot? Like bro, why would I even watch the movie now? After releasing the film in theaters even in a week, it became a blockbuster. I mean, who has that much money and time to waste? And how fast it was declared as a blockbuster, even with a 2.5 rating for that film. The craze for cinema is now overshadowed by Hollywood and now even from South Indian. Bollywood is actually remaking the South Indian and Hollywood movies, the only formula left for them. I think they are allergic to the original, fresh content. And I don’t know why they are so obsessed with slow-motion entries and a lot of fight scenes, like where is the script, idea, creativity-Bhaghi 3? If you have seen this that every movie is a sequel, remake or a biopic. I mean Bollywood, are you good? Are you out of ideas?
( In India, cinema is not just an art form, it’s a religion.— Karan Johar)
Cinema is like going into another dimension to escape reality. Cinema should start thinking about a place the audience would not accept. Cinema is a worldwide communication where we have somewhere felt the main character of any film’s character. We all somewhere get inspired by the cinema. Cinema is not just a movie but a feeling or an. Addiction for someone. In every state and lane, from kids to the elderly, from Amitab Bachchan to Madhuri Dixit- Amitabh's dialogues are being echoed, and somewhere, Madhuri's dance moves are being performed. Whether it's someone's birthday with their songs playing or celebrating an IPL victory, dancing to those very tunes. Once, JAVED AKHTAR said that cinema is not just a medium of entertainment, it is a mirror to society, a storyteller of dreams, and a bridge between reality and imagination. As a true cinema fan, I'll always stay, to watch each phenomenon light up the gray.
